More than ½ a million people are on unemployment. New York has refrigerator trucks parked outside the hospitals to use as morgues. We went for a walk today but turned around after 10 minutes because it was too cold. Thankfully Emily and I are still getting paid for our jobs. I’m keeping in touch with the kids in my program but there isn’t much to do. I’m bored more than anything. I watch the news all day. Emily and I are working on a puzzle but even that has become boring. Tomorrow I’m going out with Rachel to distribute food to our students. I’m looking forward to getting out but of course with that comes the risk of getting the virus. Now the news is saying as much as 25% of the population is asymptomatic. The news couldn’t be much worse…
