It looks like I’m getting a new job. The Milford Food Bank. They called yesterday and said they are checking my references. I’m sad about losing my summers.
The south is on fire with covid. Florida tops the leader board for new cases today. Emily and I are getting along really well at home. Yesterday, Connecticut had only one corona death, still I worry that I wasn’t careful enough yesterday when we visited my friend Cheryl. She and her family are all Republicans
The cases of covid are spiking all over the country. It is impossible to get a test and the strain of covid 19 is apparently stronger then the one we had on the spring. Social distancing is the new normal. It’s depressing. Noah said he has been indoors since January. He seems to be holding

Had a great birthday. I hung with Emily all day and Ian and Ari came over for dinner and birthday cake. Wee ate on the new deck. It was fun. Of course they gave me edibles for my birthday. Planning on eating them at the beach this summer. It looks like the governor will be
So most of the town is open but people are still required to wear masks to go into any public area, mostly stores. Any restaurant that has room in their parking lot is setting up tables and chairs and serving in the parking lot. I guess its better than nothing. I’m dying to go to
Met Katie for breakfast before she moves to Washington, DC. We ate in the parking lot at the Colony Diner. We sat in the handicapped space. Still it felt good to eat out. No covid update. There is no news about it at all. Instead the news is covering the protesters all over the country
