Today is Mother’s Day. Nothing different from any other day. Even kind of depressing. The kids  haven’t acknowledged it unless you consider a note from Ian on a scrap of paper. We did a Zoom meeting with Robert, Roberta, Joel, mom and kids. It’s cold out today. Yesterday it snowed. Well a little.

The states are all opening up, whatever that means. Haircuts, movies, shopping, all while taking your life into your own hands. Most people are against opening up. They are frightened and over 76,000 people dead in the US. Other countries have been able to open up relatively safely but with no leadership from the federal

States are all relaxing restrictions and the news says we are not ready. Many states still have cases growing which is antithetical to what the government is telling us. People are still dying and the president keeps lying to us about how many deaths we will see. The president is so ill equipped for this

It’s Sunday night and I’m watching 60 minutes. The news is so grim. The unemployment numbers rival that of the Great Depression. I can’t imagine keeping my job but I don’t know how the grant I’m under works… For now they are paying me at least until the end of the month. The summer stretches

May Day. Annabelle showed me how to use a social media app on my phone. She is so smart. I wish they lived closer. It rained for most of the day but it’s 5pm and the sun finally came out. Businesses are starting to open today. Not in the tri-state area but In Georgia and

Last day of the month. Nothing happening. Over a ¼ million deaths worldwide. Million unemployed. The president remains a moron. Today was very unproductive. Oliver is staying with us for the week but will be leaving tomorrow. I think it’s time for him to go. He is depressing me with his talk of liking animals

The days are passing quickly lately. I haven’t written anything in days. Over 3 million people have been diagnosed with covid world wide. Over 50,000 Americans have died from it. Going to the store is very stressful. My glasses fog up from the mask i have to wear. The aisles are really too crowded to

Yesterday, Trump (I can no longer call him president) said at a press conference that injecting disinfectant might cure the virus. Lysol had to come out with a warning not to inject or ingest cleanser. People can be so stupid. Rachel and I passed food out again. Very satisfying… This weekend we plan to drive

1:45am I can’t sleep. It’s like this every night. I don’t do enough during the day to feel tired. Emily is sleeping like a log. I used to like this time alone at night. No one to bother me, the phone never rings. I used to think this about Dcf till they started to come
